CentreBlock at UniverCity

CentreBlock by Liberty Homes at UniverCity atop Burnaby Mountain is the latest condo project with sales commencing early 2014.

CentreBlock, named after its location in the heart of the UniverCity shopping district across from Nester grocery store, will span an entire block. The complex is comprised of two structures; a 6 story mid-rise building comprised of mixed use commercial and residential which will be connected to a 16 story hi-res residential building and a 3 story wood frame building consisting of 26 townhomes. Ideally located close to shopping, Highlands Elementary School, the bus-loop and close proximity campus, Centreblock will offer something for all types of demographics; owners and investors alike. In the center of the both the mid-rise/hi-rise buildings and the wood frame buildings will be a lush courtyard providing public accessibility while maintaining privacy for owners. CentreBlock design and location will lend itself to create gorgeous view corridors while still maintaining the SFU densification requirements.

In keeping with stringent building codes and environmentally friendly requirements of SFU, CentreBlock strives to provide a high level of sustainability. Features such as low impact site planning, efficient energy usage, high indoor air quality, reduced water consumption & responsible construction practices are just some of the ways that Liberty Homes will achieve these goals. In addition, such features as efficient plumbing fixtures, high quality windows, enhanced insulation, reduce water consumption, space heating, Energy Star appliances & compact fluorescent lighting all lend themselves to reduced energy cost for home owners.

Liberty Homes has taken into consideration the growing population and varying demographic UniverCity has become. In doing so, there are plans and price points for investors, individuals, young couples and young families.
