Port Development announced today that its Origin sales center will be opening in just “a few short weeks”. In speaking with the sales team they anticipate that around the 3rd week of August they will have their sales center and presentation suite ready to unveil to the public.

This is an exciting development for the SFU UniverCity area. This will mark the first new condo development project in 2 years atop Burnaby Mountain. Origin will also be one of the first of its kind in North America as it will adhere to some of the most stringent sustainability regulations to date. This has been largely driven by the SFU Community Trust in partnership with the City of Burnaby.

So far we are told that Origin will comprise of 75 well appointed units ranging in size and consisting of 1 bedroom, 1 bedroom & den, 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom & den, 3 bedroom, 3 bedroom & den, 4 bedroom and 2 level loft style homes. There will be approximately 20 different floor plans to choose from. Given the location of the building, views from the south facing units will be spectacular.
